Age Calculator
Calculate your exact age in years, months, and days
How This Age Calculator Works
Our free Age Calculator instantly computes your exact age in years, months, and days from your date of birth. It also shows your age in total days, hours, and minutes, and tells you how many days until your next birthday. You can optionally set a custom end date to calculate age at any point in time.
The calculator accounts for varying month lengths and leap years, giving you an accurate result regardless of when you were born. It's the easiest way to answer the question "How old am I?" down to the exact day.
How Age Is Calculated
Age calculation involves three steps:
- Years: Count full years from birth year to current year, adjusting if the birthday hasn't occurred yet this year.
- Months: Count remaining months after full years, adjusting for partial months.
- Days: Count remaining days in the current partial month.
Example: Born on March 15, 1990 and today is February 9, 2026 → You are 35 years, 10 months, and 25 days old, or approximately 13,110 total days.
